The Grand Budapest Hotel

The other night I pulled a typical Dr. John Dorian, and I brought out my Inner C.M. (well, kept it in).  I exclaimed, “For shame!”  A couple friends questioned the new film by Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, which isn’t scheduled to come out until next year.  Well, call me a slacker–

[“Slacker!”]

(Very good!)

–since I haven’t been keeping up with my recent IMDB updates.  This is sad, because I do have expectations of myself, and letting this slip is nothing more than a slap on the wrist.  In essence, if you haven’t seen the trailer, which has been provided by yours truly at the end of this post, the movie–as it was agreed upon (it was Mike, who initially said this) that the film is extra-Wes-Andersony.  It looks like a film by Wes Anderson, which is based off of every Anderson movie made and starring almost every usual actor in said films.

Frankly, I cannot wait to see it.

Yeah.  This is all I have to say.  There will be more “in depth” posts to follow, and there are three more left after this when fulfilling the 31-Day writing “challenge.”  Updating the posts daily, just like eating Chinese food every day during my trip to China, is fantastic at the beginning, but as the end draws near, after you acknowledge “The End,” there is a desire for a definite change.  There are three more posts to go, but they will be good ones.  They are mapped out, so hopefully they’ll come together smoothly.

After the challenge ends, I’ll probably cut back with updating posts to every other day (realistically).  As for now, enjoy the trailer.  Anderson is a nice inspiration, who goes along with:  Paul Thomas Anderson, Woody Allen, Charlie Kaufman, Lars von Trier, David Lynch, Michel Gondry, and whoever I forgot that breaks down walls.
